Husband and wife-team Floh and Petra Thiele are passionate marketing professionals who moved from Germany to South Africa in 1992. Between the two of us we share various disciplines in the daily runnings of the business: systems, staff training and co-ordination, on-site services, client liaison and sales. With about 100 events every year, we are always on the move between Gauteng, Cape Town and KZN.


What gets us going every day: The exhibition Industry has a unique culture, which unlocks the best, hardworking, can-do, creative attitude in people. After 20 years we’re still learning, still get excited and still aspire to achieve the best ROI for organisers and exhibitors alike. While we look after each other and our bottom-line, our real ambition is to get the feeling that we’ve managed to make a valuable contribution towards an efficiently run event. All our services aim to allow exhibitors and organisers to focus on their business without any distractions. We aim to exceed our clients’ expectations, prosper, be professional, honest and have fun every day.

Esther Machingura – with ExpoScreens since 2013.

I was born and raised in Mhangura Mine, Zimbabwe. I worked for the Grain Marketing Board as an Assistant Accountant for 7 years. I then came to South Africa in 2007 and started working for ExpoScreens in 2013 as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. Since then my job description is a moving target: mother to the team, giving clients what they want and need, programming our scanning devices and keeping communication flowing between all parties. I am really grateful to be part of the team; we are a family. I love giving you the best service ever!!!!

Anna Manuhwa – with ExpoScreens since 2014.

I was born and bred in Zimbabwe and came to South Africa in 2012. Working as an external auditor for different companies gave me a lot of invaluable experiences, which I can now use in my daily work. I am in charge of processing orders, writing invoices and checking payments. Working for ExpoScreens is like home, so fun and fulfilling. I really love my job and we are truly a happy family.

Coaster Katema – with ExpoScreens since 2007.

I started doing ExpoScreens installations and am now the project manager for Cape Town. For my key clients I travel to Durban and Johannesburg to service their shows. Twice a year the whole team travels and comes to work with me at major events in Cape Town, which is always awesome and a lot of fun.

Nyiko Ngobeni – with ExpoScreens since 2010.

I joined ExpoScreens as some of my friends were already working there. What I love most about working here is that we are like a family.

Reuben Mbele – with ExpoScreens since 2009.

I joined ExpoScreens just before the 2010 Soccer World Cup and was enthusiastic from the beginning. I am site manager at most of the Gauteng events and really love my work. Part of my job description is driving the team bus and making sure that everybody is on site in time.

Joshua Modiba – with ExpoScreens since 2010.

I first started assisting the ExpoScreens installations and now my main job is on-site sales with client interaction. This is my favourite part of the job.

ExpoScreens was my first proper job. I love being part of this team as I’ve learned a lot.
